They literally burned my mouth due to salt content and had to throw them out. Thankfully we left early to get the food so arrived there as 'food ready' text was received.įish was not blackened as advertised, flavorless, missing the sauce that was supposed to accompany it, was room temperature and overcooked. Within 10 minutes of our online order, we received an alert that our food was ready, even though the order confirmation projected 18 minute turnaround time.that was a red flag. When you pay ~$50 for 2 blackened fish sandwiches that include a side of greens, with additional order of 2 small extra sides of coleslaw, you expect something better than a fast food drive through. Left a detailed message, along with my phone number, both times, but no call back 24 hours later. Tried calling once more using the automated options via Mt Pleasant phone number, but again routed to a number that had no greeting. Called their Mt Pleasant location to get Summerville Nexton's phone number (you won't see a published number for Nexton anyplace online) and proceeded to leave a message on a phone no. last nights experience, but there was no one to speak to via phone. Wanted to give the management an opportunity to respond to.
Prior to these last 2 experiences, would have rated this as one of our favorite carry out options in town. We have frequented Page's foodtruck ~10 times and the last 2 have been a disappointment.
